By downloading, installing, or using Chef de Mise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is developed and operated by Grid Heap (Shanghai Gezihui Technology Co., Ltd.) ("we", "us", or "our").
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You may not:
The App performs all data processing — including AI inference, recipe management, and calculations — on your device. We do not provide cloud-based processing services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored on it.
The App downloads machine learning model files from our servers for on-device use. These model files are provided "as is" for use within the App only. You may not extract, redistribute, or use these models outside of the App.
All recipes, photos, notes, and other content you create within the App ("Your Content") remain yours. We do not claim any ownership rights to Your Content. Since Your Content is stored locally on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud account), we have no access to it.
If you enable iCloud Sync, Your Content is synchronized through Apple's iCloud services. This synchronization is governed by Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or reliability of iCloud services.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
You acknowledge that AI and OCR technologies have inherent limitations. Always verify important information, especially nutritional data, allergen content, and cost figures, before relying on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grid Heap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grid Heap is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

本条款受 Grid Heap 注册地所在司法管辖区的法律管辖并依其解释，不适用法律冲突原则。
